Healthy Eating Made Simple
At its heart, our Healthy Food Accessibility and Education Program is about creating communities that change lives. Food is the starting point — but the real impact comes through connection, dignity, and the chance to learn and grow together.

With the support of Manningham Council, we make healthy eating possible through recipe demonstrations, food literacy workshops, and inclusive cooking classes where people with disability can build independence and confidence.

Our gardens — established in Keilor Park and soon to begin in Donvale — are an important part of this full-circle food system, showing how fresh produce can be grown, harvested, and shared.

And no matter where you connect with us — Donvale, Lilydale, or Keilor Park — every food box reflects our commitment to good food, dignity, and care. Because everyone deserves the chance to put nourishing meals on the table and feel supported along the way.

🌱 Healthy Eating Made Simple

Just start small. Even adding one extra piece of fruit or a handful of veggies can make a big difference.

Cook once, enjoy twice. Make a bigger pot of food and save the leftovers — it saves time, money, and effort.

Keep meals simple. You don’t need lots of ingredients; a few fresh basics can go a long way.

Work with what’s in your box. Mix and match what you’ve got — you’ll be surprised what tasty meals you can create.

Don’t eat alone if you don’t have to. Sharing food with others makes any meal feel special.
